Thursday 9th - Sunday 12th August 2018

Coaches and Tour Operators

The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta returns to Ashton Court Estate, Bristol, for its 40th birthday from Thursday 9 – Sunday 12 August 2018. New coach parking arrangements have been put in place by the organisers of the event.

Due to huge demand to attend the 40th Anniversary all coach and tour operators must register in advance to book a parking space for their coach. Booking is free via the online ticketing system, detailed below.

To book your coach/tour to attend the Fiesta please visit – https://balloonfiesta18coachparking.eventbrite.co.uk

Space is limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Full directions and location will be confirmed upon booking. The Fiesta coach park will be clearly sign-posted on approach and is approximately 7-8 minutes walk from the main event arena (fully sign-posted).

If this facility is sold out then coach operators are requested to drop-off in designated spaces in Bristol City Centre and passengers can take the shuttle bus service to the Fiesta site. Coaches must then park at the Bristol Fruit Market parking facility before picking up again in the city centre after the event.

Please note: In recent years a number of unsafe and extremely dangerous drop-off and pick-up manoeuvres have been witnessed by the organisers of the Fiesta, Highways Authorities and Avon and Somerset Police. The organisers of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta want to ensure the safety of all visitors to this great, iconic event. Therefore all coaches and tours must book a space at the Fiesta’s new Coach Parking facility, located at Long Ashton Park and Ride (passengers will walk from this site to the Fiesta arena/back after the event). Non compliance with parking, dropping off and picking up passengers may result in prosecution.

We hope this new facility improves your enjoyment and attendance at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
