Ashton Court Estate

Ashton Court Estate is a wonderful back drop for the many international and local events it hosts each year.

With over 1.6 million visits annually, Ashton Court Estate is England's second busiest country park. Its Grade II* registered landscape, with 850 acres of woodland, grassland and Grade I listed mansion rank amongst the country's finest. Once the home of the Smyth family, much of the estate was designed by the great landscape designer Humphrey Repton.

A £6 million Heritage Lottery Fund supported project restored much of this heritage, and created new visitor facilities including: café, toilets, car parking, information/visitor centre and function rooms for hire.

Discover the restored formal gardens, historic parkland and deer parks with the magnificent old oak trees, a fantastic setting for relaxing, games and picnics. There are two 18-hole golf courses with stunning views across the city and a network of trails for walking, mountain biking, horse riding, orienteering and other activities.

During 2011 developments include - onsite maps, new signage and the launch of a disc golf course, graded mountain bike trails and mobility buggies. A new golf and cycle centre is due to open in Spring 2012.
