Fiesta Traffic and Travel Arrangements Announced

Traffic and travel arrangements for this year's Fiesta have now been finalised, covering a full range of different options for reaching the event.

Visitors are encouraged to plan their journeys well in advance- particularly during very busy periods such as the Night Glow events on the Thursday and Saturday evening, and the Red Arrows display on Sunday 15th at 4.30pm.

As with previous years, the Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed from 6pm-2am on Thursday 12th and Saturday 14th for pedestrians and vehicles.

It is free to enter the Fiesta showground though there are parking charges for all vehicles except bicycles. Advanced car parking is offered at a reduced cost of £6 and drivers wishing to secure a spot close to the showground are encouraged to book soon as over half the allocated spaces have already gone.

Visitors to the event can this year also make use of an expanded Fiesta bus service, including a new stop at Clifton Village. Alternatively, the new 'Fiesta Cycle Way' offers a safe, bike-friendly way for cyclists arriving from the city centre to join the crowds at the Ashton Court Estate.
