The Fiesta attracts 500,000 visitors each year over four days.
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is the largest event of its kind in Europe and has grown to be one of the largest outdoor events in the UK, with a large and varied range of exhibitors, caterers, entertainments and concessions.
The Fiesta gives exhibitors access to a large number of visitors who attend the event for more than one day and retains the crowds throughout the day by providing a packed programme.
Market research conducted in 2010 showed:
- 97% of visitors come with family, friends or partner
- Over 79% of visitors rated the event good or excellent
- 90% of people intend to return in 2011
- 45% of our visitors traveled from 50 miles or further
New for 2013
In 2013 the Fiesta will have an improved Trade Village, Catering and Entertainment areas, along with additional options for all those trading at the event to enhance their profile.
We have also refreshed our Arts and Crafts Pavilion which will showcase the very best of local arts and crafts from Bristol and the west of England.
